Powerplay Terms and Conditions: Plain-Language Summary
Who Can Play
To open a Powerplay account you must be at least the legal gambling age in your province: 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec, and 19 everywhere else in Canada. You must be located where online play with us is permitted, use your real name and details, and hold only one account.
This page is a summary. The full terms in your account settings are the binding version, and by registering you agree to them.
Your Account and Verification
You are responsible for keeping your login details private and for all activity on your account. We will ask for identity and address documents to confirm your age and identity, usually before your first withdrawal and sometimes earlier. Withdrawals can't be processed until verification is complete.
We may suspend or close accounts that involve duplicate registrations, false information, fraud, or the use of someone else's funds.
Deposits and Withdrawals
Accounts are held in CAD. Deposits must come from payment methods registered in your own name, and withdrawals are generally returned to the same method where possible. Any minimum amounts, processing times and limits are shown in the cashier before you confirm a transaction.
Funds must be wagered at least once before withdrawal. This is a standard anti-money-laundering safeguard.
Bonuses and Promotions
Each promotion has its own terms, including eligibility, wagering requirements, game contributions, maximum bet rules and expiry dates. These are always shown on the offer itself. If a promotion's terms are broken, for example through bonus abuse or multiple accounts, bonus funds and related winnings may be removed.
Sports Betting Rules
Bets are accepted once they appear as confirmed in your bet history. Settlement follows official results. Postponed, abandoned or rescheduled events are handled according to the sportsbook rules for each sport, for example if an NHL game moves to another date. Obvious pricing errors may be corrected or voided, and live bets may be rejected if odds change before confirmation.
Changes and Responsible Use
We may update these terms from time to time, and significant changes will be communicated before they take effect. Gambling involves risk, and you should only play with money you can afford to lose. Limits, time-outs and self-exclusion are available on request at any time.
